Thank You, I Love You

I have a poem of sorts
just on the tip of my
tongue

Trying to formulate my
gratitude into cohesive
words

But alas, and yet again,
I find myself filled with
the ineffable

“Thank you” seems so
mundane, basic, and
insufficient

So, I will say the only
thing that even begins
to encompass

I love you.
